Excommunication Notice

In light of their severe misconduct and violation of both precepts and law, Guang Huan Mi Zong hereby issues a formal expulsion of two individuals, Yui Siu (肖蕊) and Kin Leng Iek (易建林). These individuals have spread rumors among our members, slandered the sect of Guang Huan Mi Zong and Holy Master Ziguang Shang Shi, obstructed the cultivation and donations of our students and followers, and harmed the spiritual lives of others. After investigation and verification, we have determined that their actions constitute an act of apostasy. Effective immediately, they are permanently excommunicated from our sect. We reserve the right to pursue legal action.

In this Dharma Vanishing Era, chaos abounds, and sentient beings are confused. Some ungrateful and faithless individuals abandon the righteous path, harbor evil intentions, fabricate lies, and spread them maliciously. They slander the Holy Master, defame ordained preachers, sow discord, disrupt the cultivation and lives of our faithful followers, tarnish the purity of the Buddhist sect, and severely damage its reputation with numerous misconducts.

To prevent further harm, our Board resolutely excommunicates these law-violating, precept-breaking individuals. Specifically, Yui Siu and Kin Leng Iek are punished with excommunication for spreading rumors, deviating from the Dharma, slandering the Master, inciting disbelief, harassing followers, and obstructing the spiritual progress of others.

Yui Siu, a serious offender of precepts and karmic laws, had received many health benefits since learning the Dharma in 2006. However, due to her impure intentions and slander toward fellow practitioners, she left our sect on her own. After repenting in 2008, she was accepted again and enjoyed a harmonious family and successful business.

Kin Leng Iek, also a serious violator, began practicing in 2016. Upon recognizing the bad deeds done in her past, she wept in remorse and vowed to start over. With Holy Master’s help, not only did her own health improve, but her son’s depression was cured.

Compassionate Holy Master Ziguang Shang Shi acknowledged their prior contributions and granted them merit-based rewards and opportunities. Yet over time, both lost their original aspirations. Driven by resentment and ignorance, they fell into greed, anger, and delusion—fabricating and spreading falsehoods, inciting others to violate the precepts and turn against the teachings, and severing some members’ spiritual lives. Their actions are appalling and utterly reprehensible.

Since the release of our announcement on June 29, 2025, our members became upset and furious after learning of their vile behavior and actively denouncing and reporting the two. Their malicious deeds are now fully exposed under the light of true Dharma.

Investigations revealed that Yui Siu openly supported Jun Wang, another excommunicated offender, and aligned herself with evildoers. For the sake of personal gain and out of malice, she deliberately attempted to destroy our sect by using AI to generate misleading and defamatory messages, disseminated through texts, WeChat, and phone calls. She defamed Guang Huan Mi Zong and Holy Master Ziguang Shang Shi, obstructed donations for temple construction, and repeatedly disrupted Dharma propagation efforts—causing physical, mental, and spiritual harm to many students.

Kin Leng Iek, misled by evildoers and deceived by rumors, lost her right mind and repeatedly disturbed students, spreading slander and creating confusion and pain. Many were tormented by her behavior.

Their divisive actions and malicious words brought turmoil to our members, causing several to waver in faith and fall into depression. Their words are great falsehoods; their actions violate the precepts for Guang Huan Mi Zong students and disciples, constituting the grave offense of slandering the Buddha and sabotaging the Dharma.

Adhering to the principles of upholding precepts and safeguarding the righteous Dharma, and after thorough review by the Disciplinary and Ethics Committee, Guang Huan Mi Zong has decided to permanently excommunicate Yui Siu and Kin Leng Iek, removing them from our sect to serve as a warning to others. The net of Karma is vast and unerring; when the karmic fruit ripens, retribution is inevitable.

Students and disciples of Guang Huan Mi Zong must discern right from wrong, uphold virtue, stay away from evil influences, and courageously protect the Holy Master and the Dharma. Those who have been misled or corrupted by them should deeply reflect and confess, in order to dispel the poisonous fog, eliminate karmic obstacles, guard their hearts and lives, and return to the righteous path. Otherwise, they will be ensnared by karma and unable to escape its consequences.

Going forward, anyone who harms the reputation of Guang Huan Mi Zong or Holy Master Ziguang Shang Shi will be held accountable in accordance with the law. There will be no leniency.

This announcement is to be shared by all local contacts, converted disciples, converted students, and all concerned individuals. Let this be a lesson to all. Together, we must guard against evil influence, uphold the true Dharma, practice diligently, and cultivate vast fields of merit.

Exposing A Conspiracy and Upholding Justice

Announcement from Guang Huan Mi Zong
Exposing A Conspiracy and Upholding Truth

Guang Huan Mi Zong (GHMZ), is an orthodox school of Buddhism, officially registered in multiple countries and regions around the world. Our denomination is dedicated to fostering social stability, prosperity, and harmony. Guided by Holy Master Ziguang Shang Shi’s teachings of health, peace, and harmony, GHMZ is dedicated to its mission of alleviating illness and suffering, enlightening beings, and fostering national and religious prosperity. GHMZ earns consistent recognition and praise wherever its members are present.

Recently, it has come to our attention that an individual known as “NANA娜娜” has repeatedly spread false accusations and attempted to create conflict against GHMZ. Through investigations, we have confirmed that “NANA娜娜” is in fact Ms. Yui Siu, who began studying the GHMZ Dharma around 20 years ago with her former husband, Mr. Huazhong Yang, from Hong Kong.

Ms. Siu and her then-husband practiced GHMZ Health Dharma and experienced notable benefits, including her reported 40-pound weight loss in 10 days at a Hong Kong class. When Holy Master Ziguang Shang Shi was invited to the United States to teach Esoteric Buddhism, the couple, along with their three children, followed him, contributing to paving roads, building temples, and various GHMZ efforts. They were once viewed as devoted disciples.

Following her remarriage in 2023, Ms. Siu and her three children severed ties with GHMZ and began disseminating defamatory rumors. She has collaborated with Ms. Jun Wang, who had previously been excommunicated from GHMZ for serious misconduct documented in police records.

Ms. Siu should have prioritized her reputation and well-being, yet she chose to align herself with individuals who had violated precepts and acted unethically. Her former peers in the Hong Kong and the US GHMZ communities have expressed confusion and disappointment regarding her actions.

This raises serious questions:

• What was the motivation behind Ms. Siu’s actions?

• Is she seeking attention or aiming to disrupt our community?

• Who might be influencing her?

This situation is echoes a past incident involving Ms. Xiao Xia, who, roughly ten years ago, conspired with illicit elements within the Chinese Communist Party to target GHMZ. She sought to falsely brand our denomination as the so-called “Almighty God” cult, which was then perceived as a significant threat in the United States.

However, with the support of the U.S. government and Chinese President Xi Jinping, her scheme was ultimately uncovered and stopped.

In keeping with the compassionate guidance of Holy Master Ziguang Shang Shi, such wrongdoings of Ms. Siu should be addressed primarily through education and correction.

Based on this principle, GHMZ has made the following decisions:

1) Regarding Ms. Jun Wang:

Ms. Wang, having violated the precepts and committed serious misconduct, was assisted by Ms. Siu in hiding her history and joining another religious group. GHMZ will formally inform that organization of Ms. Wang’s background or report her to law enforcement authorities as necessary.

2) Regarding Ms. Yui Siu:

Ms. Siu has disseminated falsehoods among fellow disciples and maliciously slandered GHMZ. She has continued to harass others through persistent messaging, causing significant distress to former students and disciples who once knew her. GHMZ will issue a formal warning and require her to issue a public apology and admission of her various misconduct. If she refuses to comply or continues down this path, GHMZ will pursue legal action in accordance with the law.

3) To those impacted by Ms. Siu and Ms. Wang:

We encourage students and disciples who have been affected to report these incidents directly to GHMZ.

Solemn Admonitions from Dizang (Ksitigarbha) Bodhisattva

Those who sow rumors, commit unrighteous deeds, fabricate lies, and stir up discord—obstructing the path of wisdom and hindering sentient beings from attaining enlightenment—shall not escape the hand of karma. Haunted by malevolent spirits in the stillness of night, tormented by lingering afflictions, they shall bring sorrow upon three generations, and depart this life without peace or dignity.

Those who, with malice in their hearts, assail virtuous and benevolent religious orders shall likewise incur calamity upon their lineage, to the third generation, and shall meet a bitter end.

Those who slander or scheme against ordained monks, violating sacred trust, shall bring misfortune not only upon themselves, but upon their descendants—none shall find peace.

Those who defame the Buddha, blaspheme the Dharma, and transgress the Precepts shall surely be cast into ruin. Possessed by dark forces, their minds disturbed and spirits unsettled, they shall, after death, fall into the depths of unceasing hellish torment—without reprieve, without end.
