Unforgettable Christmas Celebration – Goddess of Mercy Temple 2013

In honor of Christmas, New Years and the Birthday of Amitabha Buddha Guang Huan Mi Zong and the World Culture and Art Association held a fantastic Christmas celebration in the newly renovated Goddess of Mercy temple located in Amsterdam NY.

For weeks preceding the big day the team at GHMZ worked tirelessly to prepare the venue and performances. The decorations of the temple projected simultaneously spiritual splendor and holiday festivity. Of note were 3 spectacular new chandeliers, suspended gracefully from the tall ceiling by slender chains and shaped like Vajras, their thousands of crystals reflected brilliant light across the grand hall.

Holy Master Ziguang Shang Shi opened the ceremony with a short speech welcoming the guests and the performances then began with a traditional Chinese lion dance. Two regal looking lions, animated vividly by the Lion Dance Team, strutted down the center of the temple’s main hall, paying their respects to Guan Yin Bodhisattva and receiving the spiritual blessing and offering of food from the Holy Master.

Welcomed next to the stage was a Mohawk Indian drumming group led by Edward Wren. Gathered together around their drum, the Voice of the Grove, they graced the audience with a beautiful and moving performance of traditional Native American drumming and chanting.

Another Native American musical performance was given by Erick, who dedicated a soulful flute solo as a prayer for the purity of the Earth and its life giving waters.

Chris, a local Muslim youth, gave thanks for the wonderful performances and told how his travel to the Holy Mountain and the spiritual practice he learned from Holy Master Ziguang Shang Shi inspired him. Then, he played an original composition on electric guitar along with the drummer Matt. The piece entitled ‘Wave Dharma’ was peaceful and meditative.

Larry quoted Holy Master’s Dharma speech on “True Liberation” and gave a speech comparing the harmony between Buddhist and Native American spiritual philosophy to the resonance between drums. Larry praised Holy Master for the insight and wisdom he had gained after practicing GHMZ Dharma and making pilgrimage to the Holy Mountain. Larry talked about his Native heritage and the striking similarity between Buddhist and Native American prophecy predicting “a man in a red cloak, coming from the East, will restore the law of the Native American”.

The last performance was a colorful dance, featuring many different traditional costumes from the many different ethnic groups of China. The audience was invited to come to the stage for sharing the joyful moment. One by the one everyone came up the stage, clapping and dancing, drumming and singing together in a beautiful moment of holiday celebration and cultural exchange dedicated to world peace, human health and religious harmony.

[break] In a blink of an eye, this great news was spreading all over the space realm in the universe; all Buddha lands were shaken by the blissful power! Thousands of beautiful Sanskrit sounds and songs were resonating; splendid rainbow lights weaving through the air shone upon the Hall. The Cosmic Halo was covering the whole pure Land of Bliss. A bridge towards the Buddha Land in the space realm was formed in a second, transcending time and space in the attunement of emptiness and form. All Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the three thousand galaxies bestowed their blessings with jubilation for this new legendary page in the history of the world.

[break] The flag of the Holy Mountain Buddha Land has arisen, waving in sky above the Western Shrine. Holy Master Ziguang Shang Shi made an illuminating speech: “Holy Mountain Buddha Land is a symbol of religious harmony, serving as a cornerstone of world peace and foundation of disseminating Guang Huan Mi Zong’s Mahayana Buddhism. It has proven Shakyamuni Buddha’s prophecy 2,500 years ago – Buddhist Dharma will be widespread all over the world from a virtuous and gracious place. Guang Huan Mi Zong Dharma is like the Ocean which embraces thousands of rivers, and eventually all dharmas will return to their origin.”

[break] Throughout history and across the world, founding a “utopia” is the dream of those who have ambitious hearts. That is a Buddha’s nation. The descendant of Holy Mountain Buddha Land will continue the legacy of Shakyamuni Buddha’s Right Dharma and thus signifies a turning point in history. It embodies profound meaning for the promotion of Guang Huan Mi Zong culture.

[break] To realize a Buddha Land on this planet is the dream of all Buddha’s children. Holy Mountain Buddha Land carries a noble mission which requires the endeavors of all Buddha’s children. It will be an unprecedented time for the Saha world under Mahavairocana Buddha’s light and honorable Holy Master Ziguang Shang Shi’s leadership and guidance. Miracles I Witnessed

When I was in the Western Shrine, I’ve witnessed first-hand, a couple of people who have had cancer become healed and their tumors mysteriously disappear without any surgical operation, radiation, or chemotherapy. I’ve seen people who appear so sick and about to die soon, bounce back and become rejuvenated and energetic once again.

I’ve witnessed a lady who had a severe case of hemorrhoids and couldn’t walk. She was bed-ridden. Holy Master Ziguang Shang Shi gave her some Holy Water to wash herself and a few hours later, she sprang out of nowhere, dancing and singing a song in front of a large audience as if nothing ever happened. I don’t think that could ever happen at a hospital if a patient walked in asked a doctor to cure her hemorrhoids in two hours.

I’ve also witnessed many people emerge from depression and exuberantly happy. The individuals arrive at the Western Shrine appearing very dark, insecure with low energy levels, and leave the Shrine feeling and looking very happy, bright, energized, confident, and wiser.

Personally, I’ve had a long-time shoulder injury from playing tennis with the addition of heel spurs on my feet from playing sports with the wrong type of shoes. It was all permanently cured after staying at the Western Shrine for one week, with no surgical operation or injections. I even tried to purposely throw it again when playing tennis, but my shoulder is like brand new and perfectly fine.

I used to wake up every morning with bad allergies causing me to sneeze relentlessly for a few hours each day, but since I started my meditation practices these morning allergies have been completely eliminated.

A Great Breakthrough in Neuroscience

Dear President Obama,

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to cause of holistic health for humanity. We would like to introduce a method that can facilitate and even provide breakthroughs in the development and research of the Brain Initiative introduced by you, Mr. President, so that millions of lives can be benefited, and enormous amount of money can saved.

In order to bring peace and health to the world, our founder Holy Master Ziguang Shang Shi has created the methodology named Guang Huan Mi Zong Health Dharma. Despite its religious background, the Holy Master has combined both ancient and modern science and distilled the essence of theories and philosophies to incorporate them in the meditative practice that has changed thousands of people’s lives.

During Holy Master’s over 30 years’ experience of teaching the practice in the East and the West, Guang Huan Mi Zong Health Dharma has been proved to be an easy-to-learn way to provide exceptionally powerful healng effects to its practitioners in a short period of time. A lot of people have testified in person that this practice can not only relieve their physical diseases such as diabetes, asthma, insomnia, arthritis and obesity, but also effectively ease mental disorders, including Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, bipolar, anxiety, depression and so on.

There are two extraordinary real cases that we would like to share. He learned the meditation practice and started talking a bit more coherently and was able to read a Chinese letter, his daughter wrote in her thank-you letter: “we thought he couldn’t do that anymore for the past 3 years.”

A young college student suffered a traumatic brain injury after being stuck by a snow plow resulting in chronic headaches and memory loss, forcing to withdraw from her master’s degree study. Through the practiced of the Health Dharma, she was able to recover and even greatly improve her memory and learning ability. After she resumed her study, she completed a two-year’s urban planning course and attained her master’s degree in Cleveland University within less than one year.

Nowadays, brain studies have become critical to every country. By adopting Guang Huan Mi Zong Health Dharma, which can serve as a shortcut to the research and studies of brain, a government can save vast amount of investment injected to find the way to prevent and cure mental diseases, and make new breakthroughs in this field. The Power of Supreme Inner Fire Practice

The profound and deep “Inner Fire Practice” (“Tummo” in Tibetan) is the unique treasure of Supreme Dharma. It is the foundation to obtain great achievement. However, it is hard to find true instruction from an authentic master nowadays.

For those who desire to learn the Inner Fire Practice, here comes good news: the Inner Fire Practice is now imparted in the Western Shrine by Holy Master Ziguang Shang Shi, who is the Vajra Guru mastering all teachings of exoteric and esoteric dharma.

During the Dharma Vanishing Era, while the H1N1 flu appears in Asia again, “the worst flu season in a decade” is occurring in the US with a soaring death toll. When the old era is transitioning into a new one, a natural and holistic way to prevent viruses and eliminate epidemics is needed. In order to help his followers relieve their flu symptoms and prevent the further spread of the virus, Holy Master Ziguang Shang Shi taught the first level of secret “Inner Fire Practice” to his students in the Five World Buddhas Temple.

“Inner Fire Practice”, is derived from Guang Huan Mi Zong Nine Vehicle Great Perfection Esoteric Dharma. The theory behind it is profound and deep. In brief, it is to light the spiritual fire inside a human body to eliminate bad energy. Nowadays, only Holy Master Ziguang Shang Shi can teach the true instruction of it to those who have affinity.

Sitting on the sacred Mandala Dharma Altar, the Honored Holy Master imparted the truth of the universe to his followers: getting sick is the appearance of bad karma. One can practice Inner Fire and keep promoting Dharma to eliminate bad karma.

Holding the unbreakable Vajra and powerful Dharma Bell, the Honored One taught the hand gesture and mantra of supreme Inner Fire Practice to his followers. With Holy Master chanting the secret mantra, holy fire was summoned in his hand, and then the spiritual fire began to burn inside practitioners’ bodies. Started as a spark, actually this Inner Fire can expand as big as the universe. From the heat of this supreme fire, all viruses were turned into ashes, and only pure positive energy remained.

After eliminating epidemics, the Five World Buddhas Temple was covered in pure Buddha light. With divine Mandalas floating in the sky and wonderful music to be heard, the Temple resembled the Western Pure Land.

While all viruses, epidemics and bad karma were burning into ashes during the Inner Fire Practice, only pure positive energy was left in practitioners’ bodies. They were all grateful for being able to encounter this precious chance; one in countless eons of existence.
