April 8th on the Buddhist Calendar is one of the most important Buddhist holidays – Shakyamuni Buddha’s Birthday.
This year, April 8th on the Buddhist calendar, falls on May 25th of 2015. Guang Huan Mi Zong will hold a ceremonious celebration on the square of Five World Buddhas Temple, located at Amsterdam in New York, to commemorate the divine birth of Shakyamuni Buddha, and his great compassion that brought light to generations in the world.
We would like to invite you to join us in sharing the joyous and wonderful moment to celebrate the birth of the Buddha. This event is featured with the traditional sacred “Bathing the Buddha Ceremony”.
