Dear Holy Ziguang Shang Shi

I would sincerely like to thank you for offering me your special gifts. For over five years I have had a harsh anxiety. This very same anxiety has constantly kept me from sleeping through the night. I honestly wish that was my only issue. However, this lack of sleep had led me down the darkest of paths and I was not making the most prudent of decisions.

When I was first introduced to the art of letting you into my life I was extremely happy with the outcome. I noticed substantial improvements immediately. Now I no longer have night sweats that soak my bed and I do not feel ill on a consistent basis. I am so relieved that I neither vomit in the morning nor wake up drenched in sweat. I feel at peace.

I thank you for making me feel healthier and more energetic. I am doing much better things in my life now that the worry and constant anguish is gone from my soul. I am now running again and my appetite has returned. I will honor your gift by telling others about how you have helped me and by helping out those who cannot help themselves.

It has been 10 days since I wrote the last thank you letter to you Holy Master, and already another 10 months have gone by.

The other day you looked at me during the class and mentioned that I had developed some inner power. It is true, thank you so much for helping me do that, before I met you I was so weak, I did not even want to get out of bed. By my own feeling, by what others say, and by looking at my own image, I can see a big difference. I feel more relaxed, confident, and powerful than I ever have, and each day I grow stronger. Every day my mind is moving, it moves in circles, but every time it turns around it develops itself. Before it would move slowly and I had trouble seeing any difference in my thoughts and behavior after several months or years. Now I see changes everyday. The acceleration caused by your Dharma is incredible, thank you so much.

The other day during the celebration of your birthday I could sing, and dance, and recite poems. I could never do this before, but I always wanted to. Before I felt squeezed inside and I couldn’t let anything out, now I can be relaxed and happy and express myself. Thank you, it is a huge relief and benefit for me.

I have felt a lot of things developing more in the past few days, my wisdom, my strength, my will, my heart of compassion, my ability to connect to others and the message, my confidence, the clarity of my heart.

It is wonderful and unbelievable this type of transformation.

First, I would like to thank Holy Master Ziguang Shang Shi. I prostrate myself to him 1,080 times. I am so grateful to him.

Thank you Hoy Master for always welcoming me, and making special accommodations for me, and for looking after me, for helping me and guiding me and teaching me and protecting me and blessing me. You have given me so much, I can’t possibly thank you enough, or mention all the blessings you have given me.

Thank you for teaching me some more Kung Fu and allowing me to stand as your Dharma Guard. It was the highest honor I have ever had, unfortunately, your Kung Fu is so much better than mine, if anything happened, you would probably have to guard me!

Thank you so much for allowing me to attend your converted student class and making special arrangements for me so that I could participate with all the other students. This class was really excellent, the teaching, the empowerment, the practice, the mudra and mantra, and the effect were all wonderful.

During the class, we sat to practice expelling toxins. It really worked. I felt like a mountain of dirt and garbage was pushed out of me. It was intense, and difficult, and also wonderful. I felt my heart, my mind, my will, and my body becoming much cleaner. My third eye opened up a little bit, and it started to become sensitive. My heart opened up a lot, and I remembered the line from the Diamond Sutra, about being compassionate and charitable to all beings without attachment or distinction. I contemplated on that, and I was able to start to understand and practice it.

Looking into my past in this life and other lives I saw that there was a huge amount of dust obscuring my mind. I was able to get rid of a lot, but there is still a lot left. I saw a veil of dust surrounding this life, and I knew that the real knowledge of a Buddha lay on the other side.

I want to become your converted disciple so I can achieve my vow of becoming a Buddha in this life. Becoming a Buddha is what is really in my heart. This world seems so small to me, I will never be comfortable here until I see clearly into the nature of the universe and the nature of the mind. I have seen a little bit and it was wonderful beyond my imagination and conception. I really want to see more. I have felt the heart of Buddha a little, and it was beyond wonderful. I have tasted just a little bit of the Buddha’s dharma, but just that little bit is the most precious and meaningful part of my whole life, I can’t stop until I see as much as I can.

I see that there is still so many things obscuring my heart and my mind, and I need to reach a higher level to purify myself further. The only way to do this is through your dharma. I beg you, Holy Ziguang Shang Shi, please teach me more, and let me become your converted disciple.

My purpose in this world is to follow in the path of the Buddha and of Holy Master Ziguang Shang Shi, and spread enlightenment and wisdom and blessings to all beings, that is the greatest joy and the greatest mission for a person, my heart will never be fulfilled until I can do that.

My heart is bigger than this life and bigger than this world, I want to see all the beings in all the worlds and bring the light of the Buddha to them all.

Holy Master, what you have to offer beyond the price of all the treasures of all eternity, the best thing I can offer you is a mind, and body, and heart that can learn what you have to teach and spread it to others. But if you want my belt, it is pretty nice.

On December 26, 2010, my father and I embarked on a journey of connection in Amsterdam, New York to meet with a spiritual leader of the faith and healing arts. The teacher and architect, Ziguang Shang Shi, from China, has been revered to as a holy man with a quest to bring healing to those in need through his program. He is direct lineage to the teachings of Sakyamuni Buddha through the Dharma practice.

He has come to bring peace in his own accord, channeling his knowledge and upbringing. Like all beings that represent the greatness of God, Ziguang Shang Shi has demonstrated that awareness, harmony, belief, and the courage to drive HEALTH, are the key elements for real potential living. His traditions for teaching the Dharma are simple. Practice your awareness with you, those around you, and the world you live in.

In all, I have the highest praise and support for any leader who chooses to raise the standards of living. Master Ziguang Shang Shi is a leader for many tomorrows and friends who seek to receive a great foundation for a healthier way of life.
