The mission of Guang Huan Mi Zong is to “Help Relieve Illnesses and Rescue the Lives of People, Enlighten Sentient Beings, and Help Nations and Religions to Prosper”, while the World Peace and Health Organization has its mission of promoting “Human Health, World Peace and Religious Harmony”. Both missions compound an advancement and realization of Buddhism, which encompasses beliefs of great compassion, equality, cessation of sufferings, and attaining a stage of peace and joy.
The GHMZ and WPHO will host a joint celebration on the holy date of Shakyamuni Buddha’s Enlightenment this year. It features an exuberant performance by the GHMZ Buddhist Musical Group, and an almsgiving of delectable Buddhist traditional Laba rice porridge. Most importantly, we are honored to have invited the Holy Master Ziguang Shang Shi to bestow his blessings during this event.
